Rick Davis, Broker

Father of three ⛹️🤸🎮| Jayhawk fanatic 🏈🏀 | Heart transplant recipient ❤️‍🩹

Rick Davis is a Kansas attorney, real estate broker, investor, and entrepreneur who has spent his career helping people navigate real estate transactions. A graduate of the University of Kansas and Washburn University School of Law, Rick brings a unique combination of legal, brokerage, investment, and transaction experience that few real estate professionals can offer.

Over the years, Rick has been involved in thousands of real estate transactions through his work in private legal practice, mortgage servicing, title insurance, real estate brokerage, and real estate investing. As the former owner of a title company that handled more than 4,000 closings, he understands the process from contract to closing and the challenges buyers and sellers often face along the way.

Today, Rick manages Brickhaven.RealEstate and a local HomeVestors franchise serving Northeast Kansas. Unlike many companies that focus on one solution, Rick’s goal is to help homeowners understand their available options. Depending on the property and the seller’s goals, that may mean listing a home traditionally, selling as-is, making strategic improvements before selling, or exploring other creative solutions.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife, Brittany, and their three children, following KU Sports and staying active in the communities he serves.

Brittany Davis

Transaction Coordinator

Brittany is a Kansas native who grew up in Maize, just outside Wichita, and attended both the University of Kansas and Washburn University. She works closely with Rick to ensure every seller has an exceptional, well-organized experience. Brittany supports the process through paperwork, coordination, and communication, while helping identify the most impactful updates and accurately evaluate comparable properties. Outside of work, she is an avid reader who finishes more than 100 books each year and is a devoted fan of the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs.

Brett

Virtual Assistant

Brett is an AI-powered virtual assistant* who works alongside our team to help keep transactions organized and running smoothly. He assists with documentation, listing descriptions, marketing materials, and other administrative tasks that support our day-to-day operations. Brett may also answer calls when our team is unavailable, helping answer questions, gather information, and connect clients with the appropriate team member. By handling routine tasks, Brett helps our team focus more time on serving clients and guiding transactions.

Emma

Design consultant

Emma is an AI-powered assistant* who helps support our marketing, design, and listing preparation efforts. She assists with reviewing property photos, suggesting edits and virtual staging opportunities, and identifying improvements that may enhance a home's marketability. Emma also helps evaluate comparable properties, supports pricing analysis, and assists with creating marketing materials designed to showcase each property's strengths. Her role is to support our team with research and creative insights throughout the selling process.
